Living Circle

THE MOSCOW ROUNDHAUS

The Roundhaus emerges from its modern ruin in 2039 as a vibrant and speculative community that attracts a series of people with diverse interests, demographics, and stories. As one of five interventions, this project intends to create an event out of the discontinuity of the circle. The event means better access to the the park, a public space on the roof, and shared recreational rooms that provide new views in and out of the circle. The character of the intervention intends to extend the Roundhouse beyond modern ruin through materials and formal adjustments. An attempt to render an inhabitable and plausible speculation of future living.
